June 5th, 2010 ~ Pool Party at the Powells
Join us for a fun, laid back day of entertainment at Justin & Sarah Powell's house. We will be grilling burgers and dogs, playing board and video games, possibly watch a movie, and for those of you who want to take a dip in the pool, please do so.
The exact address to their house is: 5902 Berkford Drive Holiday, FL 34690. We will be hanging at their house from Noon to 4PM and there is a $5 cost per person to help cover the food cost. May 6th, 2010 ~ Encounter @ Innisbrook Golf Resort and Spa
We will be hosting our regularly scheduled Thursday night Encounter meeting at the Innisbrook Golf Resort and Spa for this one night only. The Encounter band has been granted the opportunity to lead a time of worship not only for us, but the 2010 CRI National Conference occurring that weekend. The theme of the Conference is The Battle for the Bible.

April 10th, 2010 ~ Encounter Park Day
We will be going to the Philippe Park as our April group activity. We will be cooking burgers and hot dogs with drinks and snacks available. Also, we will be playing various games including volleyball, kickball, frisbee, and whatever else we can think of. It will cost $5 per person to cover the cost of food.

$1,000 Hair Building Fundraiser for Youth Center - COMPLETED!
In an effort to help with the redesign of the youth center where Encounter meets every Tuesday night, a hair fundraiser is underway.
On March 14th, 2010, we have raised the FULL amount!
When we reach $500 dollars, Gianni's hair will be bleached white like George Washington (accomplished on Jan 9th). When the goal of $1,000 is reached, Gianni will have his head shaved at Encounter (accomplished on April 1st). For those who are interested in being a part of this effort, please see Gianni in person with your donation. Contact Gianni LoVario if you have any questions.
